Request deletion of your personal data from EZCart
Your Right to Data Deletion
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. This includes data collected through your use of EZCart, as well as data obtained through connected third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:
- Account information (name, email, phone number)
- Business information and settings
- Conversation history from connected social media platforms
- Order and transaction records
- Product catalog and inventory data
- Analytics and usage data
Data We May Retain
Certain data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records required for tax and accounting purposes
- Data necessary to comply with legal obligations
- Information needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
- Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you
Facebook/Meta Data Deletion
If you connected your Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp accounts to EZCart, you can request deletion of data obtained through these platforms. Upon your request, we will:
- Delete all conversation data from Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, and WhatsApp
- Remove your connected Meta account credentials and access tokens
- Delete any customer data obtained through these platforms
You can also manage your app permissions directly through your Facebook Settings.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your data, you can:
- Email us: Send a request to support@ezcart.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
- From your account: Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Delete My Data in your EZCart dashboard
- Contact form: Use our contact form and select "Data Deletion" as the subject
Processing Time
We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving a valid request. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. In some cases, we may need to verify your identity before processing the request.
